Dinkar 25% SC is a research product of Hokko Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., Japan & belongs to the triazolinone group of herbicides. It is a selective, pre-emergence herbicide for the effective control of annual grasses, sedges & some broad leaf weeds.
Dinkar inhibits the biosynthesis of very long chain fatty acids (VLCFA) in target plants, disrupting cell membrane formation in emerging weeds. Its low soil mobility keeps the herbicide active in the root zone rather than leaching away with water, giving it long residual control — up to 70 days against Echinochloa sp. — while remaining safe on transplanted
