D-Era is a non-selective, systemic herbicide of the Organophosphorus group, which inhibits EPSP synthesis in weed plants. Due to its non-selective action, it kills all types of weeds — annual, perennial, and even aquatic weeds — making it effective across open fields, bunds and water channels.
D-Era inhibits EPSP synthase, a key enzyme in the shikimic acid pathway that weeds need to produce essential aromatic amino acids. As a systemic herbicide, it moves from the point of foliar contact down to the root system, causing complete plant kill within 7–12 days, with no residual soil activity that would affect subsequent crops.
