Kinzan is an oomycete-specific fungicide, used for the effective control of Downy Mildew in Grapes. Built on Japanese technology, it delivers both preventive and curative action against a targeted range of oomycete pathogens.
Kinzan acts by inhibiting mitochondrial respiration within the target fungus species, cutting off its energy supply. Its excellent translaminar action carries the active ingredient through the leaf tissue, giving exceptional protection even on the underside of leaves where sprays don't directly reach. Because it quickly penetrates into the leaf's waxy layer, it remains unaffected by rain soon after application, extending the duration of control against Downy Mildew.
