The company’s R&D is equipped with latest equipments and capable scientists. In 1984 Dhanuka Group established an R&D unit named Dhanuka Agriculture Research Centre (DARC), to carry out in-house field research and process development. DARC is recognized by the Department of Science and Industrial Research, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.
Our R&D wing interacts closely with the Central Agricultural Research and teaching Institutes like ICAR, IARI, CRRI, CPRI, TRA, etc. as well as State Agricultural Universities and work in close coordination with them for the generation of scientific data & evaluation of new molecules, organizing of scientific workshops and seminars/ symposia.
The thrust is towards molecules that are safer for human beings, beneficial insects, environment and suitable for IPM/ICM Programs. Dhanuka Group has instituted few medals, awards and citations for agricultural graduates and post-graduates in agricultural universities as a part of our commitment to promote the cause of agricultural research.
FARMER TRAINING PROGRAMME
Dhanuka has taken a lead in extension programs, i.e. education of farmers for appropriate and judicious use in plant protection. These are pre-planned, crop-pest orientated programs, wherein agriculture Scientists and Group specialists participate together with farmers. Scientific deliberations, based on research findings and adoption of new technology are also done considering farmers experiences and practical problems faced by them. The achievements are highly rewarding to one and all.
