Commerce Graduate from SRCC, New Delhi. He promoted Dhanuka Group in the year 1980 by acquisition of a sick unit in Gurgaon. At that time, the unit was suffering losses and was at the verge of closure. Under his able leadership, that unit started to earn profits from very first year of acquisition. In 1985, he promoted Dhanuka Pesticides Limited, name of which has been changed to Dhanuka Agritech Limited in the year 2007.
He was instrumental in bringing many multinational associations to Dhanuka with companies like E.I. DuPont De Nemours & Co. Inc., USA; Chemtura Corporation, USA; Hokko Chemicals Company Ltd., Japan; Nissan Chemical Industries Ltd., Japan; Sumitomo Chemical Co Ltd., Japan; Arysta LifeScience Corporation, Japan; Mitsui Chemicals Inc., Japan; FMC India Pvt. Ltd., USA; Syngenta India Ltd., Switzerland; Dow Agro Sciences India Pvt. Ltd., USA and Yara Asia Pte Ltd., Norway. He is instrumental in introducing very powerful and patent products for elevation of Indian agriculture through these associations.
He has vast experience in the agritech industry which has added much needed expertise in the areas necessary for the functioning of the Board. He was on the Board of Haryana Pesticides Manufacturers Association, the apex body of pesticides manufacturers in Haryana for 8-9 years as its Chairman.After spending two terms as Vice Chairman of Crop Care Federation of India, he was elevated as the Chairman of Crop Care Federation of India in the year 2006. Right now he is serving the second term as the Chairman of Crop Care Federation of India. Crop Care Federation of India is the apex body for Indian and Multinational pesticides manufacturers in India.
He is a man with philanthropic attitude and with a vision for participative growth.
